In the book, Lucky's home is destroyed by trash. But, on her search for a new home she finds something more important than her beloved knickknacks - friendship. In this club, you'll learn a lot about trash and how to take action to clean up our home planet. But the most important thing Earth needs is a friend, just like Lucky and Jim! The more we understand our connection to each other and what the living things around us need, the better friend we can be! So, before we get to cleaning up, we'll learn all about our environment, starting in our own backyard!

No, the Clean-Up Club functions as a stand-alone resource that can be used with or without the book recommendations, including Lucky. You can simply watch the videos and incorporate as much of each section as you like.
